For the Edexcel AS Unit D4 (Stalin’s Russia), the last section consists of the events of WW2 and immediately afterwards.

To understand Russian involvement in WW2, these notes explain Soviet Foreign Policy in the 1920s and 1930s.  Foreign policy means how a country plans to deal with other countries.

As you read the notes, notice how the USSR tried to make deals with other countries and how they reacted to perceived threats from other places.
