A really simple but clear revision diagram on Nazi control and how it involved terror, propaganda, censorship and genuine achievements in balance to create an effective grip on the population.
Terror made people too scared to challenge the Nazi ideas, even though in reality the terror state operated more on the perception of agents everywhere than the reality of Gestapo agents behind every lampost;
Propaganda promoted messages and ideas that were acceptable to the Party ideology;
Censorship prevented conflicting ideas spreading, emphasising the idea that opponents were isolated as it was hard to share negative ideas;
Genuine achievements, such as lowering the unemployment figures (albeit partly achieved through negative actions such as the removal of women and Jews from many workplaces), as well as engineering economic development.
